What a Siding Quote Actually Covers
A real siding quote is a line-by-line breakdown of project cost, drawn from an in-person look at your home rather than a ballpark number given sight-unseen. It spells out material choice, labor, and anything extra the job calls for — patch work on the sheathing, trim, soffit or fascia — so you can see precisely what you're paying for instead of just a total.
Whether you're weighing your options or mapping out a budget, a properly built quote is what separates a number you can actually plan around from a placeholder that shifts once the crew arrives. We build ours from a genuine walkthrough of your home's exterior, because siding jobs vary too much in complexity for a flat square-footage formula to hold up.
Why You Need It
Fuzzy pricing almost always leads to unwelcome surprises somewhere down the line. An itemized quote up front means you know the full scope going in — what material is being used, what the labor covers, and what could shift the number if the walkthrough uncovers something extra once work is underway.
A detailed quote also gives you a real basis for comparison if you're checking multiple contractors. Separate line items for material, labor, and any added scope let you see where every dollar goes, instead of stacking up vague lump-sum totals that make it hard to know whether you're even comparing apples to apples.
How We Do It
You Reach Out
Give us a few details about your project and we'll set up an on-site visit for a time that fits your schedule.
We Walk the Exterior
A technician measures your home, checks the current siding condition, and flags anything that could affect scope or material choice.
Talk Through Materials
We go over material, color, and style options with you face to face, answering questions as they come up.
Build the Itemized Quote
We put together a detailed, line-item quote that covers material, labor, and anything extra we found during the walkthrough.
Go Over It Together
We sit down and review each line with you so nothing on the quote is a mystery before you decide anything.
What to Expect
Plan on thirty minutes to an hour for the on-site visit, depending on your home's size and the scope of what you're considering. We take our time answering questions rather than rushing through measurements, because knowing what matters most to you helps us build a quote that actually fits.
Once the walkthrough wraps, we put your itemized quote together and go over it with you, either right there or at a follow-up call, whatever suits your schedule better. There's no pressure to sign anything on the spot — the quote is yours to review and weigh at whatever pace works for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Often we can go over pricing with you the same day as the visit. Larger projects with several material options on the table may take a little longer to finalize every line item accurately.
Getting pricing right depends on seeing the actual home — its size, the current siding's condition, and complicating factors like multiple stories or architectural details. A phone number without a site visit is really just a guess.
Our quotes reflect exactly what we found during the walkthrough. If something unexpected turns up once work starts, like hidden sheathing damage, we talk it through with you first rather than surprising you with a new number.
We'll go over any costs tied to scheduling directly when you get in touch. Give us a call to talk through your specific project and get straightforward answers up front.
Absolutely — if you're weighing something like vinyl against fiber cement, we can price out both during the same visit so you can compare them side by side.
Because material and labor costs shift over time, we recommend moving forward within a reasonable window after receiving your quote. We can confirm it's still current when you're ready to book.
